Macro On a Budget

I recently had a go at macro photography but instead of using a dedicate macro lens I used a special adapter which enables you to fit a normal lens onto the camera body backwards. In this instance I used a very basic 18-55mm kit lens on my Canon DSLR which resulted in a very shallow depth of field macro, for very little expense.
