It's been a bit nippy up here of late and there has been a fairly decent covering of snow on the ground so I thought I'd have a go at photographing frozen bubbles with my DSLR. Obviously in a perfect (and colder) world and with some talent this kind of stuff happens... https://www.facebook.com/BulleDeBonheur33/videos/2293140667378722/?hc_location=ufi
I had a quick search for an easy to follow tutorial and found this one....which helped a lot so I dug out my old s/h macro lens and had a play...
In my defence it was only minus 1.5 that evening so it took ages for the ice to form even though I'd used slightly warm water....The bubbles were still frozen (but burst) the next morning! Hopefully I'll have another go soon now I've got the basics. So more to follow if I get another opportunity. The bigger the 'straw' you use to blow the bubbles the better. Background lighting was via a Phillips colour changing LED battery light.
